Setting professional boundaries is a complex and important part of your role in child development and youth programs. Professional boundaries are critical for establishing a positive work environment, maintaining strong partnerships with others, and supporting your own well-being as well as the well-being of those you coach or supervise. In this webinar, we will identify what professional boundaries are and their importance to your role, discuss how to set workplace boundaries, and evaluate strategies for maintaining boundaries with colleagues and families, as well as with teens in youth programs. We will also identify pertinent VLS resources and highlight ways that you can communicate and model professional boundaries to ensure a positive and supportive program climate.

This training is designed primarily for Program Managers, Training & Curriculum Specialists, and other CYP program leaders. To attend you must have a Virtual Lab School (VLS) account.
