There are many resources available to help you support staff members’ learning related to social and emotional development. This handout provides a short list of publicly available resources. Click on the websites below and review the resources that can be used to train staff or provide ongoing professional development and coaching. Infant & Toddler Training Modules: Center on the Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning- This site provides PowerPoint training materials, printable classroom resources, and resources to share with families. Materials are designed for Infant & Toddler classrooms. Preschool Training Modules: Center on the Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning- This site is similar to the one described above, but the materials are designed for preschool classrooms. National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations- This site has pages dedicated to (a) training resources and (b) coaching resources around social-emotional development for children ages 0-5. Teachers’ Essential Guide to Cyberbullying Prevention- This website has downloadable resources to share directly with school-age children and their families. You can also use the materials to educate staff members. - Bullying Prevention Training Center- This resource, designed by the U.S. government, provides downloadable PowerPoints and training materials to educate school-age staff members about bullying and social skills.
