This webinar focuses on the vital role that child and youth programs play in supporting children’s well-being and ensuring that mental health services are available to children and families. This session examines the current research around the increasing incidence of child and youth mental health disorders, focuses on strategies to build confidence and promote resiliency, and identifies preventative strategies to support better outcomes around the mental health and wellbeing of children, youth, and their families. In addition, this webinar highlights the VLS tools and resources available to program leaders that can encourage staff in identifying and addressing symptoms of mental health challenges.
